Official Opening | Sultry Black Glam

The new year is going to be a very exciting and big year for me. As I am opening up the Couture Mantra store on the first weekend of 2019. I know, only a week to go!

I am excited and looking forward to seeing you all there. I did a quick look, so you guys get a sneak peak of what to expect at the store.

Cut/style: I stuck to a traditional cut with this piece. I let the intricate embroidery on the blouse, delicate fringe on the dupatta, and the bling on the skirt do all the talking.

Embroidery: This outfit has a heavily sequin fringe skirt. The blouse has prominent yet subtle embroidery on the neckline. I finished the outfit with elegant fringe detailing

Colour: Why black? Black isn’t generally worn in the festive season or at auspicious occasions. I wanted to break that misconception and show you how it can be worn during wedding festivities. My lengha is actually the black rainbow iris iridescent colour. This sequins are black but will reflect the colours surrounding it. I had purple balloons around me so it’s reflecting the purple balloons in the sequin work.

Matched with: Sultry smokey eyes and nude lips is a must with this look! I kept my hair effortless, and kept it straight. I added traditional chandbalis to add some colour. The gold accessories give the look a break from black.

Thanks for reading.

Looking forward to seeing you all next week :)
